Science Curriculum Milestones
In Science we set out annual ‘Milestones’, expectations children are expected to meet by the end of the year to demonstrate children are working at an age appropriate level. Through the year our teachers use formative and summative assessment to identify how well children are progressing towards these milestones in order to modify learning and support children in meeting these expectations. Data is collected summatively to form termly judgements and to inform teachers in reaching end of Key Stage judgements against National expectations.
